		<description>&lt;p&gt;I think a good way for him to handle the situation would be to admit losing Johan is inevitable, and map out his stategy (as best he can without losing a competitive advantage) for winning without him.  Either he is purposefully being evasive on the issue of Twins post-Santana, he hasn&#039;t thought about it, or he really has no idea what to do. I would say the latter two are more likely than the first.&lt;/p&gt;

He knows as well as we do that most fans soon won&#039;t forgive the Twins for getting rid of the best pitcher in baseball. So he says &quot;I want to keep Johan&quot; to take the blame off himself and place it squarely on the shoulders of the new GM.&lt;/p&gt;
