He knows as well as we do that most fans soon won't forgive the Twins for getting rid of the best pitcher in baseball. So he says "I want to keep Johan" to take the blame off himself and place it squarely on the shoulders of the new GM.</p> <p>Personally, I wouldn't blame Gardy for losing Santana, as he has nothing to do with it, and no say in the decision.
