Yesterday we had 23 unique viewers. Not bad for a site that's just a week old, I guess. But I don't think the point is to get a giant readership immediately, really.

Speaking of Google searches, we got one yesterday where someone was searching for "howard sinker" ... I can't imagine we were the first result for that.

No idea. My guess is not many, but apparently we come up on some pretty unusual google searches.

It seems the Mets rushed everybody. I guess that's just how they do it. Probably since most of their team was acquired via free agency. Their homegrown stars are phenoms who were able to handle flying through the system (Wright & Reyes).

Maybe they figure that if the player can't handle moving that quickly, that they're not ready to play in NY. If our payroll were $50M higher, we'd probably operate more like that than we do.

That is really good to know. This puts my mind at ease that earlier this winter Nathan really was putting words in Morneau's mouth. Hopefully he does know something about Gomez, I however think he would greatly benefit with a full season at AAA. It appears the Mets really rushed him for some reason, they had beltran in CF, so why rush Gomez?
