I guess that's just how they do it. Probably since most of their team was acquired via free agency. Their homegrown stars are phenoms who were able to handle flying through the system (Wright & Reyes).</p> <p>Maybe they figure that if the player can't handle moving that quickly, that they're not ready to play in NY. Maybe they figure that if the player can’t handle moving that quickly, that they’re not ready to play in NY. If our payroll were $50M higher, we’d probably operate more like that than we do.

This puts my mind at ease that earlier this winter Nathan really was putting words in Morneau's mouth. Hopefully he does know something about Gomez, I however think he would greatly benefit with a full season at AAA.
