But if we plan on doing anything down the stretch we need to start beating up on the bad AL teams. Oakland is one of those bad AL teams. I believe Gardy has cost the Twins several games this year and if the Twins do not make a move, it'll only get worse and they will surely be no better than a .500 team. (this isn't even bringing into the discussion of our HOLE in the #2 spot in the lineup...) With Crede being out every other day, it's becoming more and more a major issue with not having 1 capable infielder to play 2B... and by the time Grudz is ready it may be too late.</p> <p>The Twins should be 4-0 on this road trip and back in 1st place, looking to put together a great win streak against inferior opponents (A's and Rangers) while building confidence going into a tough series vs a playoff caliber team (Angels) and looking to show the rest of the AL that they are a playoff team themselves... Instead, they are managed poorly and much needed wins are slipping away in the late innings... at 47-46, only 69 games remain, which means the Twins need to go 43-26 to reach 90 wins and have a decent shot at winning the division....
